Alumni

I have a degree in Private Law from Mulay Ismail University and a Master's degree in Business Management and Strategy from the European School of Management and International Trade, both in the Kingdom of Morocco.

In 2024, I had the opportunity to join NOSiAkademia's Jumpstart program, an experience that played a decisive role in developing my technical, strategic and professional skills.

During this period, I participated in relevant projects for STEM Data Analytics & AI, a NOSi partner company, where I contributed to the implementation of innovative solutions and the preparation of strategic analyses to support decision-making.

As well as being involved in projects, I had the opportunity to take part in corporate meetings, institutional events and complementary training, which were key to strengthening my interpersonal and organizational skills.

The challenging and dynamic experience provided by NOSiAkademia proved essential for the transition from academic knowledge to professional practice and for a more comprehensive understanding of the real demands of the market.

This experience culminated in my joining Banco BAI Cabo Verde, one of the country's leading financial institutions.

My name is Milton Fonseca, I have a degree in Criminology and I had the opportunity to join NOSiAkademia, where I was assigned to intern in the NOSi Digital Identity and Security Directorate. During this experience, I immersed myself in the world of cybersecurity and computer forensics, participating in vulnerability analyses, penetration tests and digital investigations.

One of the most memorable moments was analyzing malicious documents using improved tools, which allowed me to deepen my knowledge in detecting and responding to cyber threats. Additionally, I improved skills such as time management, research, and problem solving.

The internship was extremely enriching, providing not only technical knowledge, but also a broader understanding of information security and its importance in the digital scenario.

Today, I am pleased to say that I am hired by NOSi, working in the area of Digital Marketing & Customer Experience Projects, where I continue to learn and contribute to the digital transformation in Cape Verde.

NOSiAkademia was a turning point in my professional career, and I am grateful for every learning experience and opportunity it provided me.

COO da BRAVANTIC

The youth internship program in the IT field in Cabo Verde, led by the NOSi Academy, has become a significant factor in the country's technology industry development. These internships offer young people the opportunity to gain practical experience and apply the theoretical knowledge acquired during their academic training.

BRAVANTIC evolving technology, established in Cabo Verde since 2018, with representation in Portugal, Angola, Mozambique, Brazil, and the UAE, is committed to leveraging technology for sustainability and the well-being of individuals and businesses.

Recognizing the importance of investing in the development and empowerment of young talents, BRAVANTIC has partnered with NOSI to provide internship programs that enable Cape Verdean youth to experience the work environment and develop their technical skills alongside our team of 2500 employees, bridging from Cabo Verde to the global stage.

During the internship, young people have the opportunity to work directly with experienced IT professionals, learning from them and contributing to real company projects. This provides a valuable opportunity to apply the theoretical knowledge acquired during their academic studies.

In addition to practical development, internships also help young people develop personal skills such as teamwork, communication, and problem-solving. Interacting with experienced professionals at BRAVANTIC is an excellent way to gain insights into the industry and the various available career paths.

In Cabo Verde, the IT sector has shown significant growth in recent years, with government and businesses investing in new technologies and digital transformation.

However, despite existing opportunities, it is essential to emphasize the importance of solid and continuous training in the IT field. Young people interested in IT internships in Cabo Verde should seek courses and certifications in this area to stand out and secure more competitive internship opportunities.

In conclusion, IT internships in Cabo Verde provide young people with practical experience and the opportunity to develop their technical skills. With the ongoing growth of the IT sector in the country, these internships are an excellent way for young people to prepare for a promising career in this field, thereby supporting Cabo Verde in its technological revolution.

CEO da VisionWare

In 2007, we won our first project in Cabo Verde, launching our presence in the PALOP region, which remains solid and continuous to this day. Over 17 years after arriving in Cape Verde, VisionWare has established a strategic point in this African country, both financially and in terms of business.

Cabo Verde is the best case study and the greatest success story for VisionWare. The synergies established with NOSiAkademia have proven to be a unique partnership for the successful implementation of our strategy in Cabo Verde and a local partner of Excellence, which has allowed us to grow and be a true ally in terms of training, discovery, and support in retaining new human talents.

VisionWare has already received and supported close to 50 interns over the past 2 years, absorbing some of these talents into the company, given their significant contributions to VisionWare's activities and team performance. It's worth mentioning the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) established between NOSi-EPE and VisionWare in May 2022.

This MoU aims, among other objectives, to develop cooperation and synergies between the two institutions, capable of providing favorable conditions for the creation of a VisionWare Competence Center in Cabo Verde, to provide Cybersecurity services in the global market, exemplified by our VisionWare Threat Intelligence Center, a cyber threat monitoring and detection center operating globally via Cabo Verde.

The advantage of having people trained in Cabo Verde, by NOSi itself and the academic community, has been a fantastic experience, with the raw material available, and this joint collaboration has worked very well. Therefore, this will be a long-term partnership, reinforced by our strategic shift to the TechPark, a digital hub and a major technological project for positioning Cabo Verde as a "technological island."

VisionWare is once again at the forefront, being the first foreign (and Portuguese) company to relocate its local office to the TechPark. VisionWare will continue to invest in people trained in Cabo Verde to work not only in the archipelago but from Cabo Verde "to the whole world."

My internship at NOSi was a truly enriching experience.
This opportunity allowed me to deepen my knowledge in an area in which I have always had a keen interest: network and systems infrastructure. As part of the Core Networking Services team, I had direct contact with technologies and processes that contributed significantly to my technical and personal growth.
This experience broadened my horizons, reinforced my passion for the area and confirmed the direction I want to take in my career.
Now, having completed the internship, I take with me not only new knowledge, but also the motivation and confidence to face the next challenges with determination.
